Wedding Photos – Digital or Film?
You have picked the
photographer and studio for the big day and are now in the midst of discussing and finalizing the details. You and your other half think through on what could be the potential hiccups for the day.
You want to have a
picture perfect day. For e.g., you have opted for a beach wedding and the event is in the morning. The photographer would try to reduce the
amount of glare in the direct sunlight and to bring out the natural colors.
Whether you are engaging
a professional or getting the help from your avid photography friend, you might need to consider on the photograph medium, which is
digital or film pictures?
If you opt for pictures
taken with a digital camera, you would store them online or in a storage medium such as CD / DVD. You could make some refinements to them using the digital photography software. But one thing to
note is that if you are developing the photos, you might not get good colors or finishes as compared to those taken with a film
camera.
For film cameras, the
pictures taken are better when developed and you could then scan in to store it electronically.
If you wish to opt for
special effects, it might be easier to do it with digital photos.
So do consider on the
effects you want to make a wise decision. Do discuss and convey this to your photographer so that he will bring the right equipments for the
day.
If you decide to do away with the
photographer, try one of the disposable one time wedding camera. Leave one on every table so that your guests will be able to take candid
pictures of your wedding!
