Wedding Invitation Wording

How should you word your wedding invitation? What should be the correct phrases to use? Could you use a more personal note for theme weddings such as a less formal one like beach wedding?

A typical wedding invitation should contain information on

  • who’s getting married
  • who’s the host
  • the timing and place of the ceremony
  • RSVP  & contact information

Depending on who is hosting the wedding reception, you may use the following as references.

These are the more formal types of wedding invitation wording.
