Getting to Bahamas

With it close proximity to Florida, there are a lot of ways to get to the Islands of Bahamas.

By Air:

Major airlines fly to the islands with Nassau, Freeport (Grand Bahamas) as gateways.

If you wish to fly to the Out Islands, you could consider the following airlines:

By Cruise:

You could take cruises to the Bahamas which usually are 3 to 4 day or week long which calls at Nassau/Freeport. Most cruises depart from Miami for Bahamas. The cabins are quite well furnished with some even offering suites onboard.

By Private Boat

You would need to clear customs and pay an entry fee according to boat size.
