Sounds absurd or ridiculous? How can a beach wedding be cheaper than a traditional wedding? You might not have noticed that you might be already be saving a great deal of money as not all guests will turn up. Especially if your venue is not near your home. Usually only close friends or colleagues and relatives would attend the wedding. Thus at first sight, you have already eliminated and shortened the list!

Though it may seem even better and cheaper if you were to hands-on and do everything yourself. But due to the intense competition among the wedding planners and companies, there are some good deals which you can pick up. Good news? Yes it definitely is!!

The big plus point is that you have NO-HEADACHE since the majority  would be taken care by the wedding planner. So it would be a fuss-free, value-added event whereby the both of you would just be waiting for the big day to arrive and put on your best smiles!

Reception:

Having a moderate reception rather than lavish reception could save a great deal of money. You could use creative ideas to decorate your wedding reception and centerpiece. Ideas such as using drift wood or surfboards as entrances, or to use candles and candies as wedding centerpiece. There are a great deal of ways to brainstorm and design the perfect wedding of yours.

Location:

You could find a location which do not require fees. This mean that you might have to use a public beach. If you are concerned on the rowdiness of the beach, you could pay some money to secure a private beach to conduct your wedding.

Wedding Invitation:

You can handmade your weddi ng invitation. Reflecting on the theme of the wedding is important. For example, you could include some sea side pictures if you are having a beach theme wedding. 

Wedding Dress:

If you intend not to spend too much money on the wedding dress, some other options are:

• Getting your mom's old wedding dress

It might seems a bit old fashion but you could buy some accessories such as sequins or beads to decorate it and turn into something new!

• Get a friend to sew for you!

You may have a friend who could help to sew the lovely dress for you. All you might have to do is to get the materials needed and perhaps a small token of appreciation for her help.

• Rent

You could also consider renting the wedding dress from the bridal shop if you intend to cut down on cost. Renting is certainly one of the cheapest ways .

Whatever method you intend to go about to acquire the wedding dress of yours, do remember to choose something which you feel comfortable with. Looking good  and at ease is more important than slipping into the cheapest wedding dress and not feeling happy about it. You could save on other aspects too.
