There is a dive centre within the hotel premises for diving enthusiasts which could help to organize the diving trips in the nearby Gilis (small islands).

You could do sun tanning, slow walk along the beach, swimming or kayaking as the waters are relatively safe. Do not swim beyond the safety buoys that lined the bay as the waves and currents are stronger outside the regions. There are also small boats which pry round the area.

Outside the premises of the resort, you would find plenty of small shops which offer snorkeling or diving trips. The prices of these trips would be relatively cheaper than those offered by the hotel. Beware! Choose those who are licensed as there are many unlicensed tour agents prying the beaches.

As per any less developed areas, you would find the locals trying to sell you local produce such as pearls and traditional crafts outside the hotel premises. You could enjoy bargaining with them to get good prices for your buys but beware that the prices usually quoted by them are many times higher than what you might get in shops in the city!
